When you own a country club or sit on the board of one, you know exactly how important it is to successfully market to your members. However, you need to develop a plan if you want to be successful in your efforts. Some of the things that you need to consider include your objectives, how many initiatives you’d like to an act, and how many people are going to be involved.
These can vary from one club to another, but there are still some things that all clubs should consider when they are developing a marketing plan that we’re going to look into.
What Are Your Goals?
The first thing you need to figure out when you’re developing a marketing plan to enhance your efforts is what your goal is. Do you want to make sure that any goals that you said are attainable or else you’re going to be destined to miss success. You can say goes out loud, but you should write them down and be specific about them. Some questions you should think about are:
· How many new members do you want?
· Are you reaching out to a younger crowd?
· Do you want to implement new member structures?
One of the most important things that you can do when it comes to golf course management is manage time properly and set priorities. Figure out what activities and operations occur that are taking away from productivity and figure out how to make them fit more in line with the goals that you set. Consider your projects and any deadlines that you’ve set and how well they fit into your goal.
By looking at your goals and setting priorities, you’re going to be able to figure out a better marketing strategy to increase membership and reach the heights that you’ve set for your club.
